Let me ask you one question: If someone invented a machine that could magically duplicate any item at will, and transport that item instantaneously anywhere in the world, all at a cost of next to nothing, would you embrace it, use it, and start looking for all the ways in which it would benefit humanity? Or would you ignore the opportunities it represents, and clamor for legislation and regulation of the machine in the name of 'protecting jobs' and 'saving livelihoods'?
